NOT FOUND: prepare succeed.jpgChanging seasons can have a positive or a negative effect on our lives. In order to ensure the positive results, there is a definitive, vital component – P.R.E.P.A.R.E.
Time spent in preparation is never wasted. Get the most out of the upcoming season by preparing for a healthy and fit autumn.

Plan
As kids return to school and weather begins to change, there is a need to plan an adjustment to your workout/eating schedule. Do you need to change the time you workout? Will you be changing the location of your workout? Plan ahead so you can be ready for the change.
Realistic
There may be a time of transition while finding the right schedule to workout. Be realistic and patient. Sometimes it’s necessary to shorten your workouts. Just keep doing something. Something is definitely better than nothing.
Enthusiasm
Choose to be enthusiastic about the change and watch your energy increase. Your workouts will be fun. Your attitude will affect your results.
Prioritize
Don’t let your regular exercise routine slip by the wayside or get shoved to the back corner because the mornings are dark or the weather is a little colder. Prioritize your workout and stay fit, healthy and full of energy during the holiday season.
Accountability
If this is a tougher time of year for you to stay motivated, get an accountability partner. Give them permission to “push” you to stay focused on your goals. There are several websites, programs and even apps on your phone that help you stay accountable by charting your daily progress with calories taken in and calories burned.
Relax
Regular exercise is one of the best stress releasers that you can use. By working out with a consistent routine you will find it easier to relax. Your sleep will be better. This is especially important throughout this busier time of year.
Enjoy
Another choice you can plan to make is to enjoy this season. Enjoy your exercise, your family, your job, your life. It is a choice, so plan on choosing to enjoy each day to its fullest.
Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Plan a fun workout program that you can continue with through this season. Keep your stress down and your energy up.
