KIDS PROGRAMS:

Thursday @ 4:00 p.m.: Design a Mardi Gras Mask with ArtWorks.
Kids will design their own unique Mardi Gras mask using traditional colors and embellish their creations with feathers, rhinestones, beads and other materials.

Wednesday, September 1st @ 4:00 p.m.: Anime Club.

Select and watch featured anime DVDs! Enjoy Japanese snacks while discussing new and classic anime shows. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library. Free.

Thursday, September 2nd @ 4:00 p.m.: Book Spine Poetry.
Search the library shelves for books with interesting titles, and stack them to create found poetry. Vote on your favorite poem, and see your book spine poem posted on the library website, Flickr, and Twitter.

Wednesday, September 15th @ 4:00 p.m.: Manga Mania!
Hang out and discuss your favorite manga while enjoying snacks and making cool stuff like bookmarks, greeting cards, candy sushi or origami. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library. Free.

Thursday, September 16th @ 4:00 p.m.: Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament.
Attention, Yu-Gi-Oh duelists! Are you ready to do battle? Bring your decks and enter a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament at North Highlands-Antelope Library for prizes and bragging rights.

Wednesday, September 22nd @ 4:00 p.m.: Game On: Rock Band
Come rock out at the library with Rock Band on the Nintendo Wii. Other available games include Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, and more!
