The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed on a plan to change supervisorial district boundaries at the September 8 public hearing. Redistricting is required after each US census to adjust the boundaries to make them as equal in population as possible. On September 20, the Board of Supervisors will introduce an ordinance to legally change the district boundaries. The new boundaries will take effect 30 days following the adoption of the ordinance.
