Thursday, March 4 @ 4:00 p.m. : Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! Read-a-thon & Party.
Join the library staff for a celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 106th birthday. Read Dr. Seuss stories and enjoy cake and soft drinks provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library. Free.

FAMILY PROGRAM:

Saturday, March 6 @ 2:00 p.m.:

Art to Wear with the Girl Scouts.

With representatives from the Girl Scouts. Turn an old garment in to something new and fresh. Girls participating in the program will provide their own clothing item (t-shirt, jeans, etc.) and Scout staff will provide materials (beads, buttons, fabric paint, etc) to decorate/revamp the clothing item into something new. Girls will have the opportunity to learn about Girl Scouts and becoming involved in scouting.
JUST FOR TEENS:

Wednesday, March 3 @ 4:00 p.m.: Teen Anime Club.

Join Anime Club to watch, draw, dress and eat anime. Japanese snacks provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library. Free.

Wednesday, March 17@ 4:00 p.m.: Manga Mania!

Hang out and discuss your favorite manga while enjoying Japanese snacks and making cool stuff. Cool stuff includes, but is not limited to: bookmarks, greeting cards, and origami. Free.

Saturday, March 20 @ 2:00 p.m.: Teen Advisory Board

Come help select books for the teen section, plan and prepare library events, and do some volunteer work around the library. Participation may be credited toward your school volunteer service requirement.

MYSTERY BOOK CLUB

Saturday, March 27 @ 10:30 a.m. and continuing the Fourth Saturday of each month @ North Highlands-Antelope Library in the community room. All mystery book readers are invited.
