The Sacramento County Regional Parks Annual Pass is your ticket to savings
Sacramento, CA, -- Just in time for spring, the County Regional Parks Department is reminding County parks visitors to purchase their annual pass to County Regional Parks. Starting at $50 dollars, the pass allows unlimited recreation, relaxation and outdoor opportunities at county parks and facilities located throughout Sacramento County for you or your whole family.
Between May 1 and July 30, 2010, Annual Pass purchasers will automatically be entered to win a custom-fitted bike valued at over $350. They will also receive a coupon book valued at $250 with coupons from local vendors, including: Bicycles Plus, Elliott’s Natural Foods, City Bicycle Works, Fleet Feet Sports, River Rat Raft and Bike, Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, Patriot Bicycles, Inc., REI and more.
“The Annual Pass pays for itself in just 10 visits and makes it so much easier when entering our parks,” said Janet Baker, Director, Department of Regional Parks. “This year more than ever, it is important that those in the community who use Sacramento County Regional Parks step up and help us preserve our parks and open spaces.”
Annual Pass revenue goes directly towards maintaining and operating the 15,000-acre Regional Parks system, including the nationally renowned American River Parkway. People that don’t drive to parks, but still want to show their support, can purchase a Parks Supporter Pass for $50 dollars and will receive a small token of appreciation from Parks.
