Elkhorn Farmers’ Market is up and running! All we need is YOU.
That’s right. The vendors are anxiously awaiting the flood of customers. The customers are anxiously awaiting the hordes of vendors. The directors of EFM are anxiously awaiting these two groups of people to find each other.
The weather has been a huge factor in getting the crops growing this year. Big time farmers and backyard growers have felt the pinch. The board of directors has taken care of all the licenses and permits; we continue to hand out vendor applications and answer the questions of those who drop by to see what’s going on.
To reiterate, Elkhorn Farmers’ Market needs you. We need the local growers to step forward. If you have a small garden or acres of crops, we will help you to get started selling to our local communities. If you grow it, they will come! Drop by to pick up an application.
If you want fresh fruits and vegetables that have been grown locally and picked the morning of the market, the closest place you’ll find that is at the NE corner of Watt Avenue and Elkhorn Boulevard, between Long John Silvers and Auto Zone. See you at the market!
