If you have a passion for cars and would like to obtain a job working on hybrid and electric vehicles then the Alternative and Vehicles Training program could be the opportunity for you!
Program Eligibility: Be 18 years of age or older Be unemployed due to termination or lay-off from your previous employer, underemployed or low-income Attend the required two-day (four or five hours total) at Sacramento Works and American River College The training program will be offered at American River College and include courses in: Intro to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Biodiesel Technology Automotive Electric Systems Alternative Fuels Advanced Technology Vehicles The program will begin in February 2012 and enrollment orientations will be held on the following dates: January 11 – January 26, 2012 January 25 – January 26, 2012 February 8 – February 9, 2012 Call (916) 563-5147 for more information and orientation reservations.
