Last week we had nine funerals. Not one person was over the age of 55…

One man, age 47, was standing in his front yard, watering his garden, when a car driving down the street went out of control, drove up on the man’s property and in an instant he was gone. We just truly don’t know when our time will be up. Have you thought about what you would like to have happen to your body, after you pass? “ I ask this question often and I get a lot of different answers, from ”Ah, just throw me in the back yard and shovel a little dirt on me,” (which isn’t legal) to “ I’d love to have my body made into a diamond”…something that is possible! I then ask, “What have you done to take as much pressure off your family on the worse day of their lives?” Once again, I get lots of different types of answers, but one thing that is consistent: none of us want our passing to be any harder on our loved ones than it has to be. In other words, the more decisions you make now, the better for all those you love and that love you.

Begin with a Pre-Planning Guide. This is an invaluable booklet that I will give you at no cost.  It will help you get all of your important information together in one place and have your wishes for your arrangements recorded exactly as you want them.  Once this booklet is filled out, you will have the information necessary for a death certificate -- any military service, legal, medical and financial information that will be necessary for your family to handle your end of life business. This one little gesture can make a world of difference to your loved ones. Feel free to call me for your copy at 565-5914.
