In additional to starting their year with an impressive 6-0 record, the Highlands High Lady Scots Basketball team won their first tournament of the year, the Valley Christian Tournament on December 10. In addition, Amanda Preciedo won Most Valuable Player and Natalya Stepanchuk won an All-Tournament Award.
