The Highlands High School academic decathlon team participated in the regional scrimmage on Saturday, December 10.  Team members Kevin Tran earned a 1st place ribbon in music (honors GPA category) and Zach Ekstedt earned a 2nd place ribbon in math and 3rd place ribbon in music (varsity GPA category.) The team will move on to the Sacramento county competition on February 4, 2012 at Inderkum HS.  The super quiz relay is open to the public and will begin at about 3:30.
