Thursday, February 4 @ 4:00 p.m. : Drum & Dance for Joy with Fenix.
Watch and listen to exciting dance and drumming from West Africa, the Congo, and the Caribbean with the Fenix Drum and Dance Company, Sacramento's premiere African dance performance company. The audience will learn the basic dances and will be encouraged to join a drum circle. Great family program! Free.

Wednesday, February 3 @ 4:00 p.m.: Mario Kart!
Race to win prizes from GameStop! This is your chance to prove yourself the fastest Kart driver around. Gamers must register and arrive at program on time to be eligible for the tournament. Hang out and discuss your favorite manga while enjoying Japanese snacks and making cool stuff. Cool stuff includes, but is not limited to: bookmarks, greeting cards, and origami. Free.

Come help select books for the teen section, plan and prepare library events, and do some volunteer work around the library. Participation may be credited toward your school volunteer service requirement.
