NOT FOUND: night at he museum1.jpgCommunity. It’s all about coming together. On March 27th an event presented by the Foothill-Highlands chapter of the Rotary Club will bring local restaurants, area wineries and people who care together to support three major charities.

The Rotary’s third annual,”Night at the Museum” is an event open to the public that will provide dancing, live music, food tasting, raffles and a live auction. There will also be special speakers and we can’t leave out the flight simulator compliments of the Aerospace Museum.

It’s a partnership and collaboration with businesses and individuals from surrounding McClellan, Foothill Farms, Antelope and North Highlands neighborhoods. Umpqua Bank in Antelope was the first area sponsor.

For those less familiar with what the Rotary Club does in the community, here is a quote from Club President David Stone: “Our members are men and women business owners, managers and professionals who are leaders in the community. People who care, make things happen, and enjoy each others’ company in the process”.

Last year’s event was attended by hundreds of people and raised over $13,000 last year.

They hope to exceed those goals this year. The more revenue raised, the bigger the win for these charities! Plus it’s a great way to network with other professionals in the area and meet new people.

Tickets are $40 advance, $50 at the door. For more information and to become a sponsor log on to their website: www.rotarynightatthemuseum.org
