SMUD energy specialists will explain and demonstrate how to optimize a home’s comfort and energy efficiency during the colder months of the year. This class will include information on caulking, weather stripping, window coverings and insulation. Attendees will also learn about HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) replacement options, related energy code requirements and techniques to improve furnace efficiency.
