Rio Linda Elverta, CA – February 16, 2010 – Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District welcomes NEW Recreation Manager Denis Nishihara.
Recreation professional Denis Nishihara has been encouraging and building healthy communities through positive relationships and quality programs for over 15 years. His energetic passion and extensive experience in Youth Development Programs has allowed him to create over 30 original youth/teen oriented programs throughout Northern California.
After spending three years leading programs for the City of San Carlos, Mr. Nishihara invested 7 years constructing the foundation of recreational programs for the City of Oakley. The opportunity in Oakley allowed him to facilitate new policies regarding 38 parks & 3 facilities, Supervision of over 70 programs & 25 classes with a focus on Adults, Seniors, Youth, Teens and coordination of large community special events.
