40th Year Class Reunion
The date is September 18th, 2010. The location is the Red Lion Inn in Sacramento on Friday night and a BBQ on Saturday. The occasion is a time to reminisce and catch up with what your high school buddies have been doing for the last 40 years.
Jerry Fox grew up in North Highlands, attending Fruitvale Elementary (now F.C. Joyce), Campus Verdes Junior High and, of course, Highlands High School. While he did move away for a bit, Jerry is now back living in North Highlands and passionately planning this long awaited reunion.
“Our number one goal is to track down the people of the class of ’70,” mentioned Jerry. It seems that out of the 520 that graduated from his graduating class, they do not have current contact information for about 420. As you can expect, Jerry is on a mission. If you are a Highlands alumni and graduated in 1970 or know anyone who graduated then, please contact the planning committee so they can update their records and make a connection.
“Our next goal is to keep the event reasonably priced. We know that many people have been impacted by today’s economy and we don’t want them to have to miss this great time together,” noted Jerry.
Contact Jerry through the contact email, highlands70@aol.com to get a list of who has been contacted and who they are still trying to track down. In the mean time, post it on your facebook, twitter, etc. and let everyone know it’s time for the Highlands High Class of 1970 to re-unite.
