There’s no better time to treat yourself to a world of flavor and learn how to better your body this fall than with the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op (SNFC). They are presenting a bounty of seasonal cooking with health and lifestyle classes for kids, adults and seniors. SNFC offers classes through their Community Learning Center & Cooking School. It is located right next to the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op at 1914 Alhambra Blvd. (at the corner of Alhambra Blvd. and S Street) in Sacramento. Additionally, the SNFC will offer a variety of free, in- store events through late summer; designed to introduce new flavors, sample products and discover services for a healthy lifestyle.
For more than thirty years, SNFC has grown to become the second largest natural food cooperative in the U.S. and is a trusted regional resource for natural and organic foods, products and information. The Co-op’s vision is to provide the benefits of natural foods and products, economic cooperation and sustainable practices to as many people possible in the communities it serves. Committed to supporting organic local family farms and small producers of high quality, all of the Co-op’s fresh produce is organically grown and purchased directly from local farms. It also provides financial assistance to area organic farmers to help them obtain certified organic grower status through their Adopt-A-Farm Program.
