The MOMS Club of Antelope/Elverta actively works to support worthwhile causes that benefit families in our area, and is committed to improving the lives of children.
Recently the MOMS Club of Antelope/Elverta made a donation to Spinelli Elementary School which included backpacks, assorted school supplies, socks and underwear for both boys and girls, boxes of kleenex for the classrooms, and $50 in gift certificates to Payless Shoe Source to be used on behalf of needy students.
We are also currently working alongside the Sacramento Crisis Nursery, providing them with an on-going supply of diapers and blankets. www.crisisnurseryonline.com.
A big "thank you" goes out to the Wal Mart on Watt and Elverta for their generous contributions to both of these service projects!
In addition, we are currently selling Japanese maple tree saplings in order to raise money to benefit the local Sheriff's Service Center Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
If you are interested in buying a tree (small for $2, large for $5) or for donation information, or if you are interested in the Antelope/Elverta MOMS Club in general, please contact them by calling Linda V. at 331-1059 or Molly M. at 729-0193.
