November 30, Bullfrog Beauty Supply will be closing its doors for good. For the past 25 years, Bullfrog has been a standard in the North Highlands community. Russ Mullnix, owner and operator of Bullfrog Beauty Supply, said that when they signed their original lease, the Elkhorn Shopping Center was just dirt! They were one of the first businesses to move in to the shopping center, and are the very last of the original businesses to move out.
“It’s not by choice that we are leaving," Russ stated, “we simply can’t do it any longer.” The last two years have been exceptionally tough on Russ and the store. Russ has enjoyed being part of the local business community, serving his loyal customers and will miss it very much. 25 years is a long time to be in business in the same place. Many of Bullfrog's current customers started coming into the store with their mothers when they were just kids, and now come in with their own children in tow. There are even customers that have moved as far away as Roseville and Rocklin that continue to come to Bullfrog to purchase their beauty supplies.
As a way to say thank you, and help with the move out from the store, all items in the store will be 50% off beginning November 1. Let your friends, family and neighbors know. Everything has to go, including the products, equipment, furnishings and pictures. Russ even has some antique pieces in the store that he’s willing to part with. The liquidation sale will continue through the entire month of November or until the stock is gone.
Whether you’ve been frequenting Bullfrog Beauty Supply for most of their 25 years or you’ve never been in the store, stop by this month. Have the pleasure of meeting Russ, and take a few moments to thank him for being a long-standing member of our community.
