AEROSPACE & AVIATION LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
INTRODUCTION TO THE ALC (Aerospace Learning Center) CLASS
An introduction to the principals of flight in a docent led classroom experience. Subjects covered are weather, forces of lift, navigation and GPS technology using computer simulators and software. This class is recommend for the 5th grade level and higher. Included with the ALC class is an exhibition hall & airpark tour. Cost $15 per person
EXHIBITION HALL & AIRPARK TOUR
A docent led tour of the interior (exhibition hall) and the exterior (airpark), its exhibits, artifacts and historical significance. Cost: $5 per person
SPACE: DARE TO DREAM (self guided)
A 6,000 sq ft exhibit focused on man’s exploration of space from the time of Galileo to the rocket age. This exhibit will be available from February 29 – August 31, 2008. Cost: included in admission
FUN WITH PHYSICS (self guided)
1,200 sq ft of interactive experiments, teaching the principals of physics.
This exhibit will be available from February 9 – April 30, 2008. Cost: included in admission
