Summer! What does that mean? It means it’s time for healthy, active, energetic activities with friends and family. You know -- BBQ, picnics, camping, water skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, shorts, tank tops, bathing suits, and “bingo arms.”
What it really means is that it’s time to get into shape – NOW!
That’s why the staff at NHNews is taking the Herbalife Challenge and we want to encourage you to get into “summer shape” with us.
If you’re like most of us, you have put on just a couple of elbeez (as Eric F, our very favorite restaurant guy calls them), over the winter months. Or, you may even have a pound or two left over as souvenirs from last year. In any case, wouldn’t it be nice to have an enjoyable, healthy, and simple way to lose the extra weight, firm up and feel more energetic? Plus – what could be more fun than to embark upon this exciting endeavor with some of your favorite local newspaper team members?
Anyone wishing to improve their health, increase metabolism, and maximize energy will definitely want to jump on board with this Herbalife challenge.
We’ve all just taken our weight, measurements, our “before” picture and we are beginning our new eating program. In order to chart your progress, you will need to know where your starting point is, so we suggest you do the same.
Here are a couple of guidelines before you begin:
• Weigh yourself with the same scale you will be using throughout the challenge.
• Measure your chest, waist, hips, right thigh and right arm. It’s best if you have someone else take your measurements so they can do it accurately each time. Do not pull the tape too tight! This is a time to be really honest about where we are. This way the results will be accurate and encouraging.
• Have someone take a picture of you. Stand relaxed.
• Keep these in a dated folder so you can chart your progress weekly.
• As with any program, check with your medical doctor and get his okay for this program.
The North Highlands News Team will chart our progress and keep you posted with how great we are doing and any helpful tips we come up with along the way.
I suggest you check out the Herbalife website www.herbalife.com for information about the nutritional benefits of this proven program. People have been losing weight, improving overall health and energy and achieving their goals for over 28 years with Herbalife.
Call the local number, 916-225-1234, for more information about this reasonably priced program. Tell them you read about it in the North Highlands News!
One of the team members was especially encouraged when she heard there was a group doing it, “This way I will have built in support and a great accountability team!”
Talk to your office staff, your book club, your bingo buddies, and your community organization and invite them to take the Herbalife Challenge with you. There is safety and success in numbers.
Get started now and let us know about your great results. Happy losing!
