NASCAR’s premier West Coast touring series, the Camping World Grand Nationals, will debut its first race of 2008 season at the All American Speedway in Roseville, on March 29.

In 2007, the All American Speedway in Roseville became a NASCAR-sanctioned track and added to the competition with NASCAR Late Model racing. In 2008 Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) has partnered with the All American Speedway in another giant step forward by hosting the first Camping World Grand National West season opener for both the tour series and the raceway. The event, which is sure to be a sell-out, will be the first nationally-televised All American Speedway race in the track’s history. It will be broadcast live on HDNet and re-aired on Speed network.

Hosting a Grand National event puts the Speedway in the same company as the Phoenix International Raceway, the Colorado National Raceway, and Infineon Raceway to name a few. This tour series is the premier driver-development series in the NASCAR family, honing such drivers as Kevin Harvik, Clint Bowyer, David Gilliland - just a few who have used the Grand Nationals as a stepping stone to top NASCAR racing. Holding the first race of the season will garner Roseville and the All American Speedway national attention.

2007 Champion, Mike David, of Modesto, will be on hand to defend his title and other notables expected to compete include include 2006 champion Eric Holmes, and 2001 Champion, Jim Englebright.McAnally will be fielding two of the contenders - Eric Holmes, 2006 West Champion, (No. 16 NAPA Toyota) car and Austin Cameron (No. 18 NAPA Toyota). “After years of developing teams for the Grand National West, I can’t wait to race my own back yard!” enthuses McAnally. BMR is a Antelope-based, state of the art race car and driver development company. Not only is owner Bill McAnally a winning driver, as an owner he has 30 career Grand National West wins and three West series championships. For details visit www.billmcanallyracing.com
