The North Highlands News has a new name! The votes have been tallied and the verdict is in! We asked for your input and you responded with a two to one vote ratio in favor of changing our name.
The North Sacramento News officially announced its new name on Monday, May 26, at the Memorial Day Parade with a parade float sporting an oversized newspaper (pictured below).
North Highlands residents can look forward to the same doorstep service that we’ve maintained for over ten years, as we also embrace the larger community.
We are committed to providing quality resources for our area to turn to for local news stories, community information, and light-hearted editorials. We’ve also begun to provide video coverage of local events on our website and have other great things planned for the future.
