When it’s over one hundred degrees in the shade and your family wants to get out for the night, why not grab a blanket and a picnic and head out to the park for a concert?
Both Rusch and Caeser Chavez parks offer evenings of free entertainment, and have playgrounds for your children to entertain themselves.
There are a few places that I’ve found that offer free concerts to the general public.
Below are a couple of the locations we located that aren’t too far to drive. The dates are listed as well as the bands that are performing.
So go find a cool spot and one of those massive trees that Sacramento is famous for and have a wonderful evening with your family. You’ll be sure to make a memory that won’t be forgotten.
