Sacramento, CA – The entire community is invited to this FREE event on Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The Forum for People of Color (FPOC) will host its sixth annual International Faire to be held in the heart of downtown Sacramento at the Sacramento County Administration Building located at 700 H Street on the south side patio.

There will be a full 2½ hours of spectacular, local entertainment, arts, food and fun! Multi-cultural entertainment will feature singers, dancers, jazz musicians, mariachis, gospel, youth Ballet Folklorico, martial arts, hip-hop, cultural education, vendor booths and a variety of reasonably-priced ethnic foods.

Funds raised will benefit the Sacramento County Regional Parks – American River Natural History Association (ARNHA) and the Cesar E. Chavez Intermediate School Ballet Folklorico.

The FPOC is recognized by a Resolution from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors and is supported by the Sacramento County Executive Terry Schutten. It is comprised of Sacramento County employees as well as other generous volunteer participants who provide their valuable time, energy and resources in coordinating this fabulous annual event. The FPOC believes in providing education and understanding of the cultaural diversity and awareness that enriches Sacramento County employees and the entire community. It is also committed to helping those in need achieve their highest potential by providing assistance, education and empowerment.
