NOT FOUND: 09_07 July NSN_Page_02_Image_0007.jpgThe latest North Sac News’ sponsored Family Night took place on Monday, June 1st from 6:00-8:00pm at Mountain Mike’s Pizza located at 4207 Elverta Road in Antelope. Many will pass by on their way to the mega Winco, but with a warm family atmosphere and sizzling pizza, Mountain Mike’s is a great place to stop for a slice of that cheesy, gooey goodness.
The event was a great success. Community members from the outlying areas packed the parlor to chow down on the all-you-can-eat (and very reasonably priced) pizza and salad bars. There were some amazing combinations of pizza; including a BBQ Chicken Pizza that had a sweet but tangy BBQ sauce, chicken and pineapple. They also had your traditional favorites like pepperoni, mushroom and olives, combination, Hawaiian style and veggies only. Finally, they had their own way of making a great chicken garlic arrangement with artichoke hearts and creamy sauce.
NOT FOUND: 09_07 July NSN_Page_02_Image_0008.jpgParticipants who filled out an entry form were entered into a raffle to take home some great prizes; including tickets to Raging Waters, Sacramento River Cats, free pizzas from Mountain Mike’s and more. Spirits were high and mouths were full as our great readers came out to mingle with each other and some of the North Sac News staff.
The day started early at 6:00am with KCRA coming out to film a spot, highlighting the newspaper’s latest community activity. Come 6:00pm, the pizza joint was hoppin’ again forcing the attendees to move it outside where extra tables were set up.
