With the hot, summer months approaching quickly, it is likely that an air conditioning company will be your best friend. Eleven years ago, Ken and Lee started Champion Heat & Air to service and repair your heating and air conditioning units. This family business, based out of Antelope, promises to do just that - with excellence. “A family-run business is appealing to people…we are very honest and do what we say we are going to do.”

If you go on Champion’s website you will find a plethora of information pertaining to their business specifically as well as general heating and air conditioning services and products. They have a glossary of terms, RUUD information, a contact board for questions and comments, Seasonal Planned Service Agreement information and the American Standard System Story. “A matched system that's the ideal size for your home's configuration with high-efficiency performance - that's the heart of American Standard's systems approach. And it translates to our ability to provide a greater degree of home comfort than you ever thought possible.” –Website

They are offering specials this month and they have a quick turn around time for inspection and repairs. Their normal service is $79.00 and right now they are offering $10.00 off. This will get you a visual inspection of your unit with estimated cost to repair it. The great part is that they can usually fix it within a day or two. If you need a complete system replacement, figure a week to ten days. Also, with the Refer-A-Friend program you will receive $100.00 cash when they install a new system for your friend. They also do duct cleaning and service all of the Sacramento and South Placer areas.

Ken wants people to know that, “We respect people’s opinions and give them what they want, stand behind what we do, warranty installs and take care of people until they’re happy.” A Seasonal Planned Service Agreement is a must and gives you the following: Priority scheduling, 10% off labor and 15% off parts, transferable if you move to either the new owner or you can take it with you to your new home, evaluate current/working units and offers discounts for new replacement units. They offer RUDD products including the new earth-friendly unit, PrOzone. Environmental impact is a concern to many right now.

Champion Heat & Air has an impeccable business record and has been Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited since April 16, 1998 with an A+ rating. “BBB assigns grades from A to F with pluses and minuses. A+ is the highest grade… The grade represents BBB’s degree of confidence that the business is operating in a trustworthy manner and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns.” -BBB
