Toddler Time (for 2 year-olds accompanied by their parents or caregivers) Registration is not required. Admission is free.

Preschool Storytime (for ages 3-5 years old--parents or caregivers are welcome) Registration is not required. Admission is free.
Thursday Mornings at 11:00 a.m. in the Community Room.
Toddler Time and Preschool Storytime will take a holiday break from December 15 through December 31, 2009. Toddler Time will return Tuesday, January 5, 2010 @ 11:00 a.m. and Preschool Storytime will return Thursday, January 7, 2010 @ 11:00 a.m.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAM:
Holiday Crafts from Recycled Everyday Materials
Thursday, December 3 @ 4:00 p.m.
We will create holiday ornaments and gifts from everyday recyclable items such as old CDs, puzzle pieces, paper, and cardboard.
Thursday, December 10 @ 4:00 p.m.
We will create holiday ornaments and gifts from everyday recyclable items such as beads and junk jewelry. Your donations of beads and junk jewelry are welcome.
JUST FOR TEENS:
Wednesday, December 2 @ 4:00 p.m.: Anime Club
Join the Anime Club to watch, draw, dress and eat anime. Japanese snacks provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library.
Saturday, December 19 @2:00 p.m.: Teen Advisory Board
Come help select books for the teen section, plan and prepare library events and do some volunteer work around the library. Participation may be credited toward your school volunteer service requirement.
Wednesday, December 16 @ 4:00 p.m.: Manga Discussion Group
Come and discuss manga with us. Japanese snacks provided by the Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library.

MYSTERY BOOK CLUB
Saturday, December 19 @ 10:30 a.m. and continuing the Fourth Saturday of each month @ North Highlands-Antelope Library in the community room. All mystery book readers are invited. Free.

Friends of the Library--Ongoing Book Sale @ North Highlands-Antelope Library.
Magazines for $.25, Paperbacks for $.50 and Hardcovers for $2.00. All of the proceeds from the book sale are used to purchase new materials or sponsor programs for your library. We appreciate your donations of good condition books, newer magazines, CDs, DVDs, VHS, etc, for our Friends of the Library sales.
