Last February the Alpha Boy’s basketball team took an undefeated first place in their tournament lead by their captain Trevor Goyet. Now the girls are having their turn with an undefeated victory at their volleyball tournament in October. They won their first game Saturday morning against Pleasant Grove and later took first place against Marcum, both games having exciting moments. Kendra Carter, captain of the team, lead them through both games, scoring with 11 serves and 5 “ACES”. Makayla Barlow “served it up” with 21 scored serves and 4 “ACES”, making her MVP, followed by Aeriel Marcum who contributed 13 scored serves and an “ACE”. All the girls played their best and showed true sportsmanship.
