The Citation was presented at a special meeting held June 18, 2009, at the VFW Post 4647 in North Highlands. Post Jr. Vice Commander Steve Milano presented the Citations and thanked the recipients for their generous support and participation.
The Citations were endorsed by Stan Hanson, Commander and Steve Milano, Parade Chairman, VFW Post 4647. Both North Highlands Vision Task Force members were invited back to be Judges for the 2010 Memorial Day Parade and both accepted.
Jim Simpson, Chairman of the North Highlands Visions Task Force, accepted the Citation for the Men’s Auxiliary VFW Post 4647.
