North Highlands is anticipating the opening of Golden Corral Buffet & Grill. It’s newest pavilion style restaurant is located at 4940 Watt Avenue. Early August will see the debut of Golden Corral’s pavilion style buffet selected for North Highlands.
The restaurant represents Golden Corrals’ next generation profile, with a breakthrough design and featuring six “stations” offering guests selection from around the world including the foods of Italy, Asia, Mexico and American home-style cooking. Along with the around the world offerings, buffet favorites such as pot roast, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables will also showcase exhibition food preparation featuring cooked-to-order steak on the dinner buffet. Additionally, a Greenhouse fresh salad bar and the popular Brass Bell Bakery and Dessert Café complement and complete the dining experience.
Besides its lunch and dinner buffets (which will feature more than 140 hot and cold food items), the North Highlands Golden Corral will also serve a Sunrise Breakfast Buffet on Saturdays and Sundays including made to order omelettes waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, and homemade biscuits.
The new North Highlands Golden Corral will bring more than 180 new jobs, which will include a mix of full-time and part time employees—including management, wait staff, line servers, and kitchen staff.
As a complement to its every day family dining offering, the restaurant will also have banquet facilities that will be available free of charge for groups and organizations in the area.
The new North Highlands Golden Corral will be operated by General Manager Dale Maxfield. Of his restaurant’s new opening, Dale says: “We are happy to bring the new pavilion Golden Corral brand to the North Highlands community
