If you’ve ever had traditional allergy testing done you know that it’s not fun! Personally, I’ve had the old “grid and scratch” testing done more times than I care to think about, and in no less than five states! The experiences were all the same – 30-45 minutes of varying degrees of discomfort as a large grid was drawn on my back and then scratches were made in the squares with typical allergens common to the region in which I lived. The process ended with several large hives that combined into one the size of the state of Texas on my back! Maybe your experience wasn’t exactly the same, but if you’ve had a less than pleasant experience in the past this article maybe just what the doctor ordered!
About 6 years ago, I heard about a chiropractor that had a system for testing allergies that involved no scratch tests or needles of any sort. It was time consuming as for every suspected allergen, I had to hold a vial of that allergen in my hand while the doctor pressed down on my arms. A weakening of my muscles indicated a positive reaction to that substance. This is the procedure that Dr. Cort Ehlman of Antelope Chiropractic had been using until June 2008. A new procedure has advanced his testing capabilities 10-15 years into the future. Dr. Ehlman now uses a computer with specialized software that is hooked to a bio-feedback machine that measures the electrical frequencies of common allergens and your body. There is a change in your electrical frequencies if you test positive to any given substance.
The new technology is called BioAllergenix. There are no needles involved whatsoever. Just two clips – one for the middle finger of each hand. The patient sits in front of the BioAllergenix unit, while hooked up to the clips that send the electrical frequencies of 18 categories of the allergens to your body. The BioAllergenix box reads the energy frequency responses of your body. The 18 categories represent over 400 individual allergen substances. Once the test is complete, a report is generated that tells which substances you are sensitive to. Please note that the reaction is not physical, as with typical allergy testing. There is no need for antihistamines or anything because nothing has been introduced into your body, only the energy frequency!
The treatment is simple also. Each group – not allergen - has to be treated individually, so a patient could require up to 18 treatments. The treatment that becomes effective within 25 hours involves a gentle massaging of the head, followed by the doctor making a few passes down your spine with a tool called an ArthroStim and then wrapped up with a cold laser being applied to your acupressure points. While this three-step treatment is being done, a small bottle of water that has a homeopathic agent added to it is “imprinted” with the frequency of the items you are being treated for. You take the water home with you and dilute it throughout the day by drinking it down to a certain point and then refilling and repeating it five times. The treatment is “reprogramming” your body’s neurological responses to the frequencies of the allergens that have had a negative reaction in system.a
