NOT FOUND: artinthegarden.jpgAn Artful Tour of sensational homes & gardens in South Placer County
Sponsorship opportunities are available now for anyone wishing to contribute towards making Roseville Arts’ 9th Annual Fundraiser, "Art in the Garden" spring home, garden tour and art sale slated for May 2, 2009, from 10:00am to 4:00 pm a resounding success! Tickets are available now. This self-guided tour is a favorite in the Granite Bay/Loomis region in which incredible gardens and home interiors are highlighted.
Distinguishing it from other spring tours, the Roseville Arts' event features local artists "live" at all five homes, demonstrating, displaying and selling their works of art to support Roseville Arts. From painting and sculpture to photography, there will be something to interest everyone, all in colorful spring garden settings. Live music will complement the art along with food and wine tasting, hosted by area wineries and restaurants.
Proceeds from the tour will benefit Roseville Arts’ Blue Line Gallery which supports art-related activities for children and adults in the community.
Business and individual donors benefit from their contributions to this major fundraiser by knowing that they are supporting Roseville’s future. Roseville Arts and the state-of-the-art Blue Line Gallery enrich Roseville’s businesses and cultural community. Proceeds will help support adult artists as well as the Blue Line’s children’s gallery, featuring dedicated space for programs, exhibits and workshops for children. This helps to ensure Roseville’s future as an important and favorite destination point for tourists and art lovers. Supported by donations, most activities at the gallery are free to participants including fun family activities held in the gallery most Saturday afternoons, school field trips, and special events.
The Blue Line Gallery is a community treasure in which visitors are treated to ever-changing exhibitions—no admission is charged.
Tickets are $35 per person in advance of the event, and can be purchased by calling Roseville Arts at (916) 783-4117, visiting The Blue Line Gallery at 405 Vernon Street Roseville, or online at www.rosevillearts.org . Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm; Saturdays, 1pm – 8pm.
