McClellan Park cyclists rode with Supervisor Roger Dickinson and Alan Hersh of McClellan Business Park on the May 6th bike ride sponsored by the McClellan Park TMA in celebration of May is Bike Month. Local area cyclists pledged they will ride over 18,200 miles to go toward the region’s one million miles.
May is Bike Month challenged people to choose bicycling for all types of trips including those related to work, school, errands and recreation throughout the six-county Sacramento region (El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties).
Participants helped the Sacramento region log one million miles, making this a Million Mile May.
