In 2007, Dennis Peterson purchased a storage site in North Highlands for $2,550,000.00 and made it into 1 of his 10 American Self Storage businesses. Mr. Peterson is no amateur in the business world. He graduated from UCLA in 1963 and then went to Vietnam as a Marine Combat Officer. When he came home he became a stockbroker at Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter and went on to become a Regional Vice President for a major investment counseling firm. He took an interest in real estate in 1971 and established his own firm in 1973, constructing apartments. He became a Certified Property Manager and in 1989 was chosen Property Manager of the Year by the Institute of Real Estate (IREM). He is a licensed real estate broker in California and Nevada and in 2007, American Self Storage was named as one of the “Top 100” largest operations in the United States.

This North Highlands facility needed new foundations and an improvement in layout. Mr. Peterson takes pride in his properties, that makes the reconstruction necessary.
